Successfully conducted commissioning of hundreds of rotating and static equipment to include centrifugal and PD pumps, gearboxes, agitator drives, storage tanks and pressure vessels.

Conducted root cause failure investigations on major rotating equipment failures and presented technical reports with recommendations for repair. Visited repair shops to supervise repairs.

Performed asset criticality analysis as the Lead Engineer for the review and optimization of the area asset equipment maintenance strategies.

Written numerous engineering work scopes, MOC’s and standard work instruction (SWI) for area equipment.

Developed work scope and technical specification for replacement of the 36” diameter Transfer line in the Gas Reform area of plant. This $3Million project was successfully completed on schedule, within budget and without injury.

Developed work scope and technical specification for overhaul of Turbine compressor. Researched performance history and determined technical basis for pursuing overhaul as opposed to replacement of the 62-year-old Steam Turbine.

Wrote technical specifications to fabricate and purchase major equipment to include: Turbo Compressor Oil Cooler and After-cooler, 12500SCFM air compressor and replacement of various process piping throughout the plant.

Conducted successful Lurgi and rotating kilns annual shutdowns as Project leader for major equipment overhauls.

Plant lubrication supervisor as well as rotating equipment repair, maintenance and installation team supervisor

Developed numerous written job scopes and Standard Work Instruction for equipment repair.

Developed maintenance strategies for various rotating and static equipment as the plant transitioned from their 20-year-old in-house built CMMS to the newly acquired EXP Ivara software.
